So, we finally took some time away from the clinic and headed down for the annual August festivities at George and Rowly’s. We picked up a couple of waifs and strays from Spain on the way down too.
We camped with Dom, Heather and Annabel through weather fair and foul. Campfire cooking was the order of the day, but was always best at marshmallow o’clock.
We met up with the usual suspects and had all the normal fun. Singing, swimming, kayaking rockpooling and boating. Had a lovely day with high water on the Helford. A few quick ones at the ferry boat Inn then back for a fantastic curry.
Mr and Mrs. Stavri were sorely missed, but I suppose a honey moon has to be allowed. Hope to see you all at our place for the Haloween party. Thanks again to all involved.
